Mayfield get first points of the season

 National Conference League 1 – Rochdale Mayfield 26 - 26 Millom

Millom left Mayfield Sports Centre with a point following (football wise) an indisciplined performance by the home side who, despite looking like the only winners in the first 15 minutes came up with errors and penalties to trail the Cumbrians with only minutes to go. An Aidan Gleeson converted try by Ben Namalnatua levelled the scores and Aidan had the chance to take the points with a last second penalty which he missed from 50 metres, but the first point of the season for Mayfield was in the bag. Tries were scored by Simon Moore, Ben Butterworth, Lee Atkinson and Alan England. Aidan Gleeson kicked 3 goals.
